Kōrepo ākonga have been researching local Marae to make their model as accurate as possible.
A small group of ākonga are currently building a model Marae for a project on myths and legends. They wanted to make it as accurate as possible so they decided to go and visit Nga Hau E Wha National Marae for inspiration and help with designing and building their roof.
Their next step is to paint and look at Kowhaiwhai pattern that will bring their model to life!
