A ski trip showed some of our ākonga the fun they can have in the snow.

29 ākonga from across all hapori travelled to Mount Hutt ski field on Thursday 24 August. 

The brave children ventured out at 6:00 AM and were greatly impressed when they saw the amount of snow on the mountains. 

Kailani went skiing. She thought the snow looked like sand, but when you touched it, it was really cold, especially when she fell over!

They all had a great time, and wanted to go again.
