Kia ora e te whānau,

E mahi tahi ana, kia kounga ai ngā hua mātauranga - Working together for quality education

We hope you have enjoyed time with whānau during this Matariki long weekend and are feeling rested and rejuvenated.

We would like to mihi/thank our whānau for their support last week with supporting the learning from home strategy, it has helped to break the infection cycle and will hopefully reduce sickness in the kura.

Monday, 27 June 2022 is the first day of Week 9 Term 2. Next week is 10 week and the final week of Term 2.

Haeata is open for learning for all ākonga tomorrow.

Years 1-8, including Kōmanawa, will be working at school. Year 9-13 ākonga are all expected to be at kura tomorrow. They will finish their school day at 1:30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and 1pm on Wednesday this week. The Block 5 finish remains in place for this week to allow kaimahi release time to assist with the cover of kaimahi away in sick leave.

The Senior Leadership will review the Block 5 initiative on Friday, 1 August2022, for next week.

Please note Friday 8th July 2022 will be a Teacher Only Day for all ākonga. This is the last day of term 2 2022.

We want to thank our whānau for your ongoing support at this challenging COVID-19 affected time.

Ngā mihi

Whaea Peggy
