National Biomechanics Day 2018

To celebrate National Biomechanics Day 2018, nine Kōrepo students travelled  to Lincoln University to participate in the activities run by Lincoln.

Our students were able to test their power, strength, agility and vertical jump. This was an opportunity for our ākonga to experience lab experiments that they wouldn't otherwise have an opportunity to complete and have lecturers guide them in correct technique and how to improve.

Our ākonga left Lincoln buzzing and asking lots of questions about how they can use what they learned for their inquiry.
