Celebrating Learning through our Dispositions

Andy Kai Fong —

Wednesday 5 July, 1.30 - 7.00pm

Our Haeata learning dispositions:

  • Compassionate

  • Collaborative

  • Fa'aaloalo (respectful)

  • Designers

  • Resilient

  • Contributors

  • Rangatiratanga (self-managing)

Which of these dispositions would you want your child(ren) to display everyday and in all dealings with other people?

We think our ākonga need to be able to demonstrate their ability in ALL of them to be responsible and decent people as they progress through and beyond our school.

More importantly, these dispositions are important for LIFE. If our ākonga can develop and adapt these dispositions throughout their lives, they will be successful. They are appropriate for all ages - eg RESILIENCE for ākonga in Hikuawa and Ihutai looks a little different.

We look forward to celebrating your child's learning, with you, THROUGH our dispositions.
