Matthew Faiumu, aka Anonymouz is the highly acclaimed NZ Producer and Beatmaker whose work is well-respected in NZ and the world.

The NZ Music Commission has a music mentor programme which schools can utilise. Haeata had the privilege of hosting Anonymouz for two days this week. It was action packed crash course in writing hooks, producing music, arranging and recording music. Anonymouz shared his experience of now making a living as a professional creative: writing jingles for TV and Radio stations, sound tracks for short films, beats for urban artists, producing music for the Auckland Ballet Company and travelling for professional contracts. He was the perfect inspiration for our young ākonga to see a viable pathway in pursuing the Arts.
