We are Haeata! Outstanding rugby sportsmanship with a win by Haeata 40-0!

13 excited Teina ākonga went to the Primary School Rugby Fun day at Burnside Park, organised by Primary Sports Canterbury and Canterbury Rugby Football Union on Friday 3rd May with kaiako, Carly Werahiko and Carla Taiaroa. 

It was a great start to the day with Haeata winning game 1 against Halswell 17-15. Kingston scored a runaway try on the hooter to tie the game. Uaine kicked the conversion to win the game.

Game 2 against Leeston was an awesome win and an outstanding game - Haeata won 40-0! Great plays by Nathaniel and Briley.

Unlucky end to the day for us as we went down to Marshlands 20-15, but the boys did outstanding and did us very proud!
