The Ferndale Satellite has had a successful camp to Hanmer Springs. Going on the hyrdroslides was a real highlight especially when the teachers screamed louder than the students! 

They loved feeding all the different animals at the animal park and even got a laugh out of being chased by a goose. There was lots of wooden sculptures to see on the Forest Amble walk from dogs to giant tuatara.

 This camp was a great opportunity for the Ferndale students to step out of their comfort zone and experience some independence.
