Makerspace Technician wanted:

Opportunity to work with staff to develop a new makerspace, that will have strong digital and futures-focused component - e.g. 3D printing, laser cutting, sensor technology etc

Job description will be negotiated with best candidate(s) and will include some responsibility for developing procedures around safety, and supporting teachers and students to use equipment effectively.

Position would suit someone multi-skilled in some traditional technologies and with a keen interest in futures-focussed technologies. Teaching qualifications might be an advantage however NOT essential. Salary by negotiation depending on skill-set. Could possibly suit a university or polytechnic student(s) on a job-share arrangement. Start ASAP
