Izzy
Hi my name is Izzy Froom and I am the environmental lead student for 2020 one of the projects I am working on at the moment is planting some trees because I think it is going to be a cool project to do with the junior side.

Cultural Arts Lead
This is a role that is for anything to do with arts within this kura including Performing Arts and Visual Arts spaces and making sure that these spaces are best accommodating the students of Haeata. In this role I make sure that any issues raised are dealt with as swiftly as well as appropriately.
Ciaomhe
My name is Caoimhe Hungerford and I am the student leader of academics.
I hope to acknowledge the academic achievement at Haeata and improve and encourage the learning in this school as best I can.
Heather
Kia ora, my name is Heather Prince and I am the careers and pathways student leader. In this roll I support our careers and pathways teacher and students at Haeata to have the opportunity to receive important life skills and qualifications. I have also been a part of organising Haeata formal 2020.
Brian
I am Brian Burrell the Diversity and Inclusion leader, my main focus is to make sure that everyone is included and that people's sexuality, gender, ethnicity, religion, culture etc are supported and respected. Currently, I am a member of and am working with Haeata's SAGA group which stands for Sexuality and Gender Acceptance Group to raise awareness and support our ākonga.
Nicole
My name is Nicole Buckingham. I am the leader of He Kai Manaaki. What I want my role to look like is to get a team together and try to plan a bake sale for next year and sort out the food waste at our kura.
Maxwell
My name is Maxwell Mahuika-Smith. My role is head of the student council and what I want to do is get the student council up and running so that we can start talking about ideas for school and next year I also would like to think that the student council would be the voice of the students.

I am the talanoa ako leader for Haeata Community Campus 2020.
One of my goals this year is to get more of the Pasifika students to engage with their learning at Haeata. I believe positive engagement with learning will have a lasting impact upon their future. I am looking forward to meeting with my fellow students and beginning this work!
