Kia Ora, my name is Riki. Alongside being the new sports co-ordinator for Haeata I am also the rugby development officer at Sumner Rugby Football Club. I have coached representative rugby for Canterbury Māori for the Senior team and this year I have taken on the challenge of Head Coach for the Waitaha Colt and development team. 2018 I went to London to develop my rugby coaching skills and knowledge by visiting a number of professional clubs and coaching amateur and 1st xv while I was there. Before my time in London I was the programme coordinator for the Graeme Dingle Foundation working within a number of Christchurch, Ashburton and Timaru schools helping deliver our Kiwi Can, Stars and Project K programmes. I am looking forward to working alongside you all!
