An enthusiastic group of ākonga from Kaunuku have joined Korepo students for boxing lessons.

Thanks to Jamie from A-Town Boxing, a group of children from Kaunuku are learning to box. There are three 1.5 hour lessons each week, so the children are to be congratulated for their commitment and enthusiasm. Their fitness levels are definitely improving, and the lessons are helping with their overall concentration and focus at school. We are really grateful to Jamie for sharing his considerable coaching skills with our students. In these photos, some of the local police officers are practicing with our students.
