On the 11th of April Kōmanawa hosted our first whānau hui to celebrate the beautiful mahi all our moko have been doing this term. Our whānau were all treated to waiata, socio-dramatic plays and games all in te reo Māori. After all the formal festivities our whānau were treated to an amazing spread of kai and to end the beautiful night a microphone was passed around the whānau to share beautiful words and farewells to our beautiful Whaea Aroha.
