Mikaere Flavell and Justus Arahanga Pryor were selected to join a group of other 18-25 year old Māori leaders from around Ngāi Tahu to develop leadership.

Te Kakano O te Torara is a leadership development programme run by Te Putahitanga. It is organised over 4 different wananga around the South Island. The first wananga happened last weekend at Arowhenua Marae, near Temuka. The whole theme of the wananga was rangatiratanga vs leadership. We had to develop the key differences between rangatira and a leader. Our next wananga is in Picton in July.
