Taster days offer hands-on experiences in agriculture and horticulture

Year 9-11 students are invited to sample what it’s like to study agriculture or horticulture at a two-day taster event hosted by Ara Institute of Canterbury. At the taster days, students will get hands-on with a variety of activities. These offer a taster of the Level 2 and 3 certificates in agriculture and horticulture which start in February and July. The event takes place on 15 and 16 August from 9.30am to 3pm at the Ara Washdyke training farm.
