Secondary School PolyFest

Monique Lee —

Haeata students performed at Polyfest on Saturday 4th May

It was an early start for the Haeata Polyfest group, getting to school at 7am for a quick breakfast and prayer, before heading to Polyfest at the Riding for the Disabled Arena.

This was the third time Haeata performed in Polyfest, but the first time they performed in this new venue. Originally it was to be held at Haeata before the postponement.

Seta loves Polyfest, "When you watch them live, it's amazing." The group was tutored by expert leader, Darryl Samuelu who has previously led other school's Polyfest groups. The group has since been asked to perform at Ara as part of their Samoan Language Week events.
