Aroha Hohepa —

He korowai tēnei. He whero, he pango, he mā ngā tae. I tā ahau i te mahere. I tapahi ahau i te peke. I tui ahau i te ripene. I kapia ahau i te hīti. Kei te whakahihi ahau naianei. Nā Haylee

Last week we shared our learning around mahi korowai, celebrating the amazing resilience of our Year 3 and 4 moko. This week Haylee explained the process of making her korowai in the lead of this article.

Rangatiratanga at Haeata is about taking control of one's self, showing determination and demonstrating tū maia.

All our weavers demonstrated rangatiratanga, leading the way as role models for our teina.  Paia!
