Kiwican Awards 2024

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our amazing tamariki from the Graeme Dingle Foundation Canterbury at our 2024 Regional Excellence Awards Ceremony.

The students who received awards have consistently shown our Kiwi Can values and go above and beyond to be a positive role model. They showcase the Haeata Community Campus values and are determined to try their best with every challenge that may come their way.

Two of our ākonga had been chosen for awards, Malakhi Akari for the senior award and Sophia Robertson for the junior award.

As well as that one of our leaders, Sala, took out the Top Leader award and our other Leader, Michael, provided the entertainment singing his own song “Currency” and Stan Walkers, Easy. Well deserved award to Sala and amazing performance from Michael- look him up on YouTube: Michael Kuresa.
