Today is Backwards Day, a reward for our Hoon Hay Way – Growing Together programme. We're all having a blast with it! Check out the backwards photos woleb (or below), and please read the following information.

Daffodil Day – Tomorrow (Friday 24th) we are having a Uniform Optional Day and collecting money for The Cancer Society. Children can wear their own clothes (instead of their uniform). All money raised will be forwarded to the Cancer Society Daffodil Day appeal. Thank you for your support. 🌾 It's also assembly, and we appreciate everyone being on time.

School Production Update – Tickets are selling like hotcakes, make sure to grab yours soon to secure your preferred night. While you’re on the School Shop, don't forget to purchase a copy of the show's recording – this will include highlights from both nights. This also puts you in a draw for some great prizes – donated by: Hoon Hay Thai Restaurant, Hoon Hay Therapy Massage, Dyrberg\Kern – Merivale, Fresh Choice Barrington, Mitre 10 & Harvey Norman. If you have purchased Seeds in the recent fundraiser – they'll be with you either tomorrow or on Monday. Thank you, and we can't wait to see the beautiful gardens you create!

We'll be sending out family accounts shortly, and you may notice two additional items on there. Our tamariki had a wonderful time watching a show by The NZ Playhouse, and they also participated in the Jolt Inclusive Dance lessons, or watched them perform. So we've added $5.50 and $2.50 respectively for these cool experiences. If you have any questions about your child's account, please email us at office@hoonhay.school.nz. While you're purchasing tickets, take a moment to double-check your account too!

Lastly - if you've read this far down..... we have had some apples donated to us - so if you want some for your fruit bowl - they'll be on the steps by the office after school today! 🍎
