Kia ora whānau,

Thank you for your patience today as we all navigated our way through this very wet day! 

You will have noticed the flooding in and around the school. If the flooding is still around tomorrow, we do understand if you would prefer to keep your children at home nice, warm and safe. Please do whatever works for you. If your children will be absent, please let us know via text 0279116019, or phone 3388429.  

I know that some streets in our area have been impacted significantly - please let us know if we can help out in any way.

Now that Christchurch is in a State of Emergency we will follow all the directions from the Ministry of Education.  We will update everyone tomorrow morning around 8am on our facebook page and also by email. In the event that our school needs to close, we will also send a text to the main caregiver.

We have made the decision to postpone the Mihi Whakatau that was planned for tomorrow. We will let you know when we have a new date for this. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Keep warm and dry, and expect a communication from us around 8am tomorrow morning.:)
