We celebrated Tongan Language week, and Mr Halifonuia helped Latai and Megan put together some videos to share the language.

On Thursday we had some of our Tongan families get dressed up and share their culture with us - you're all amazing

The week has started with a buzz as we celebrate Samoan Language week.  

Room 10 have made their own lavalava and will be wearing them around school. Mr Halaifonua has shown his class how to wear them, and says if they fall off, he will be able to tell who wasn't listening to him! 

They can be seen in a photo below learning a sasa, a Samoan Slap Dance. It looks very hard to follow, and takes lots of practice - which is clearly enjoyed by all!
