Mosgiel's new funeral home opened today, 12 September.
Funeral Director, Lisa Breen, proudly opened the doors to Mosgiel's latest funeral home. Adding to Hope and Sons' facilities of the Crematorium on Dukes Road North. The historic villa is a beautiful and additional asset to the Taieri community.
On its first day, there was a steady stream of visitors coming and going. The reading contractors were busy completing the driveway, a new sign went up with the phone number 489 3120 saying we are open, and Lisa's colleagues called in for visits.
It was great to welcome a prospective client, showing them the warm and homely facility. They seemed suitably impressed.
It was nice to show around a couple of neighbours, and visitors are more than welcome any time. Hope's encourage you to call in.
Michael and Jannette Hope spent the afternoon at the villa, planning the upcoming open homes, and helping Lisa to feel at home, and they enjoyed meeting visitors from along Gordon Road.
They are looking forward to the garden coloring up as the plants and trees begin to bloom and flower. It looks as though the blossom trees will be impressive.
