Loss and Grief Awareness Week 24 - 30 July 2017.
This week for Loss and Grief Awareness Week Hope and Sons will open both Bereavement Libraries in the mornings for people to drop in and have a chat.
Our Dunedin library on 18 Bay View Road will be open for members of the public to pop in anytime in the morning. Our Bereavement Support Service Coordinator, Robyn Gray will be available for a chat.
Our Chestnut Villa Library will also be open in the mornings on Wednesday 26, Thursday 27, and Friday 28th of July 2017 at 41 Gordon Road, Mosgiel. Funeral Director, Lisa Breen will be available to chat.
Skylight and other organisations are raising awareness of the powerful impact loss and grief can have on the lives of children, young people their family/whanau and community. Loss and grief in the wider context can relate to everyday experiences which we struggle to cope with. Everyone has their own experience and is affected or triggered in different ways. Sometime just knowing who to reach out to can start you on your path to healing.
Hope and Sons are contemporary yet respectful of tradition, being a five generation funeral family caring for the Dunedin, Mosgiel, and Otago communities.
