Hope and Sons are pleased to support the Octacan Foodbank Appeal 2017.
The Octacan Foodbank Appeal is an event run by Presbyterian Support Otago.
This years event took place in the Octagon on Thursday 22 June 2017.
The Hopes team were happy to chip in this year by donating over 100 cans to the appeal.
Matt Jenkins from our Mortuary team delivered the cans last Thursday.
This year Octacan were hoping to collect at least 18,500 cans to keep up with demands.
The foodbank currently provides families with about 10,000 emergency food items each month, a figure expected to increase as the weather gets colder.
Well done to everyone who got involved in this years Octacan!
