Year 12/13 Geography: Mangawhai Cliffs Walk
Year 12/13 Geography Students Explore Mangawhai Cliffs Walk as Part of Outdoor Management Assessment
The Year 12 and 13 Geography class travelled to Mangawhai to walk the Mangawhai Cliffs Walk as part of the introduction to our Outdoor Management Assessment.
The weather on the day was perfect and while the start of the walk was quite steep with many stairs, we received the reward of the wonderful view out over the pacific ocean and Hen and Chicks Islands at the top.
The track moved into native bush before heading back down to the beach, where we navigated the rocks to return to Mangawhai. We had a stunning day and can’t wait to complete the Dome Valley trail next week.
Thank you to Brent Walsh for accompanying us on this trip.
