Neither the mud or mayhem, wind or rain, could stop our Year 11 & 12 PE students completing the recent 'Tough Guy Tough Gal' challenge event.

Three weeks ago, our Level 2 PE cohort travelled down to Kumeu Showgrounds to compete in the Secondary Schools 'Tough Guy Tough Gal' event. This annual race is a 6km cross country run, with around 1000 college students tackling obstacles, scramble nets, tunnels, water hazards and whatever the weather threw at them.

All our students completed the course in good spirits and having had heaps of fun. After a hose down and (mostly) hot showers, the group were overjoyed to discover that Horizon had scooped 4 of the 6 podium places for the Year 11 age group!!!

Huge congratulations to all our students, and especially to Pipi and Siri Fox, Dylan Healey and Christian Hinchco who took home bronze and silver medals. Whakamihi, superstars!!!
