Our newly appointed Student Council were straight into running their first event of the year - Pink Shirt Day!

These ākonga were straight into running their first event of the year - Pink Shirt Day. The Student Council spent their morning tea and lunches walking around the school handing out “Kindness Cards” to students that they saw living Horizon’s values. These cards were worth Tribe Points and the ākonga also went into the draw to win a prize. It was amazing to see so many students and staff wear pink to show that bullying is not tolerated at Horizon.

The Student Council is looking forward to getting started planning the next event!
