Horizon School —

We are always blessed with time, support and donations from parents, whānau and the wider community. Special mention this edition goes to:

  • Angela Gibson - donating equipment and leading some of the College Food Tech lessons. 
  • Sandra Noordhoek - for supporting food tech too. 
  • Alison Hewat - for donating a keyboard.
  • Michelle Gray - for providing the food tech class with a new electric frying pan
  • Lisa Hyde - for clearing out the kitchen of her parents bach to help resource the cafe
  • Our College students for preparing the food and making coffees for the Helpers Morning Tea 
  • Nick van Hoppe and Garry Morning - looking at property matters to support development for 2024.
  • Rose Taylor and Michael Scholz - for helping us plan the layout for the new Primary playground. 
  • Emma Alldridge - for leading the school choir and organising for them to play at the Warkworth Town Hall on Saturday night. Big thanks to Joanna, Suzanne, Emily Raffills for helping to organise the tamariki in between the rehearsal and the main event.
  • Apollo Stylianou - for the donation of aprons and oven gloves for our Home Economics class in the College.
  • Portia Smith - for donating office supplies.
  • The Edwards Family - for picking up the work bench for technology
  • And a thank you to everyone who drives tamariki, manages, coaches and cheers on the 11 teams we have down at Touch every Thursday. Thank God for the new motorway and the lack of traffic at the Warkworth junction on Thursdays this year.
