Primary School Update: Years 0-6
Our primary students have had a fantastic few weeks filled with learning, creativity, and fun!
Explorer Update
The Explorers have been enjoying sharing about themselves and their whānau during morning mat time, helping to build strong connections in the classroom. Meanwhile, the sandpit has been a favourite spot for all primary students, with new toys and trucks bringing extra excitement. A huge thank you to Alwyn for generously supplying some cool sandpit toys!
Adventurers Update
In the Adventurers, students have been learning about emotional regulation and expressing themselves through some fabulous artworks. Their creativity has truly shone!
Discoverers Update
The Discoverers have been busy with their learning and preparing for our Easter assembly, putting lots of effort into making it special.
In Room 9, students are working hard to reflect on their learning and set new goals, showing great dedication to their progress. Meanwhile, Room 8 has been diving into creative narrative writing, turning their stories into a published class book to share with each other. This has given their writing real purpose and created something lasting to be proud of!
Extra-Curricular Clubs
The Button Club is up and running, sparking a wave of enthusiasm for knitting and finger knitting among students. It’s wonderful to see so many children giving it a go and learning new skills.
A highlight for many has been the Choir and Kapa Haka split on Tuesday afternoons. The students love having dedicated time to develop their talents in singing and performance.
It’s been a wonderful term so far—ka pai to all our students for their enthusiasm and effort in everything they do!
