Whānau Hui: Celebrating Māori Culture and Community Connection
An Afternoon of Poi Making, Rakau, and Kai to strengthen Our Community
Recently, we held a Whānau Hui with the aim of bringing our community together through cultural connection, specifically celebrating Māori culture.
It was a fun and engaging afternoon with a range of activities, including poi making, rakau, and delicious kai like fry bread and a sausage sizzle.
The purpose of the hui was to connect as a community, deepen our understanding of Māori traditions, and strengthen our bonds through shared experiences.
Thank you to the amazing teachers and whānau who helped to make this wonderful afternoon possible.
Keep an eye out for the next Cultural Connection Hui!
