Celebrating the close of an unforgettable season — thank you to our players, coaches, families, and community!

As our season comes to an end, we want to take a moment to celebrate our players, coaches, families, and community. It’s been an entertaining fun filled season, awesome teamwork, and plenty of great moments on the field.

Horizon School put together six touch teams this season. From the first game to the last, the tamariki of Horizon School, along with those who have moved on, dedicated over 10 weeks to their games with passion, determination, and energy. They displayed a great attitude on the field, and it was exciting to watch so many games each week.

A huge thank you to our wonderful coaches and managers—Horizon sports teams wouldn’t be possible without your time, patience, and dedication. You’ve helped our players grow, learn, and hopefully develop an even greater love for the game.

Mahurangi Rugby Club in Warkworth has been full of energy this season, and we’re grateful for the well-organised, energetic, welcoming touch season that supports children of all skill levels.

The season might be over, but the fun doesn’t have to stop. We have winter sports codes coming up, so be sure to stay updated through letters, Skool Loop, and Facebook for opportunities for your tamariki to stay active. We can’t wait to see you all back on the field soon!
