Farewell to Joy Macleod: A Legacy of Dedication and Support

After many years of dedicated service, we bid farewell to Joy Macleod, a beloved and valued member of the Horizon School team. Joy has been a constant presence in our primary school, particularly in supporting our junior learners.

As a specialist reading teacher, she has made a significant impact, helping countless tamariki develop their literacy skills. Whether as a full-time educator, day-to-day reliever, or short-term reliever, Joy's flexibility, big heart, and unwavering willingness to help have been a true asset to our school.

Joy has exemplified our school values of hope, faith, and love, and her contributions will be deeply missed. However, we are excited to share that she will return next year in a relieving capacity, continuing to support our students in the future.

We thank Joy for the many memories she has created and the positive difference she has made in the lives of our tamariki. We wish her all the best and look forward to seeing her again next year.
