Introducing Food Technology and Hospitality to Our Kura!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Food Technology and Hospitality to our school curriculum!

These new courses are designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in the world of food and hospitality, helping them gain valuable skills for their lives, education and future careers.

What You Can Expect:

Currently Food Technology will be available to students in Year 9 and Year 10, where they can explore their passion for cooking and food science, as we provide them with a solid foundation in subject knowledge and practical skills.

We are also offering Level 2 Hospitality at NCEA level for students aiming to gain more advanced skills and qualifications in these fields. They will have the opportunity to further develop their knowledge and expertise as the course incorporates a blend of theory and hands-on practice, making learning engaging and relevant.
