Christchurch Celebrates Filipino Culture

Christchurch came alive on Saturday, 23rd November, as the vibrant Aliwan Dance Festival unfolded at Riverside Market. This annual event showcased the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the Philippines.

Hornby High School's talented dancers made a significant impact, securing the 2nd Runner-up position and a $1000 prize. Their energetic performances and colourful costumes captivated the audience, contributing to the festival's vibrant atmosphere.
