After having our normal skydiving in Ashburton cancelled in April due to covid and then being told there was no more plane to skydive from, we were feeling very deflated. Then with the prospect of being involved in the first ever helidive in Aotearoa, and landing on the beach in Sumner we were buzzing with excitement.

The excitement then turned to disappointment due to several unforeseen circumstances and continual bad weather days. In the end our 28 jumpers received a voucher to helidive in their own time.

We were very disappointed to not be able to share the experience with our amazing jumpers who showed such determination right from the start with their fundraising efforts and then resilience with the constant changing of dates.

Without their continual support, we would not be able to do the amazing mahi we do with our tamariki.
