Kia ora koutou katoa, 2022 has been another fantastic year.

This year the Health Department had a new teacher, Miss Bennett,  join the team. Miss Bennett covered Mrs Petrie’s Maternity leave. Miss Aitken, Mrs Tafau, Mr Goodfellow, Miss Bennett and Mr Thorp have been very impressed with the students' work output, creativity, and innovation this year.

The units covered in Health in 2022 from Year 9 to Year 13 this year include: Mental Health, Drugs and Decision Making, Sexuality, Hauora, Relating To Others, Resilience, Managing Change, National and International Health Issues, Personal Safety, Discovery, Ethical Issues, and Health Promotion.

This year we had our first ever student, Jaime Burns, enter the Health Scholarship examination.  We are very proud of Jaime and wish her all the best with her results.
