The floor slab for the new gymnasium was poured this morning Saturday 16th September

The new school gymnasium (a significant part of our school rebuild) moved a step closer this morning with the concrete pour for the floor slab. The new gymnasium will feature a full sized basketball court, fitness centre, teaching space, equipment storage, changing rooms and showers, and staff office areas. Perhaps the most exciting thing is that the school will retain the existing gymnasium (due for a significant make-over with additional maintenance), giving the school two full sized indoor basketball courts. The future is bright for academic, cultural and sporting activity at Hornby High School.
