It may surprise some people to know that Badminton is the second most popular sport played around the world, with an estimated 220 million players. On the 9th of June we sent a team of four girls to represent and compete against other schools around Canterbury.

It was a long day with each girl playing six matches. They all played well and Sheena managed to come out undefeated while playing in the number one position.

Overall we came 5th for the day.

The players were Sheena (Year 12), Kiah (Year 12), Kyla (Year 13), and Sarah (Year 10).
