A mix of Year 11, 12 and 13's hopped on the bus to the Manawa centre alongside Christchurch Hospital to join other schools from around Christchurch to look at the variety of careers the health industry can provide.

The students got to roam between two floors divided into educational providers of health and professional clinical and non-clinical roles, and the simulation centre where they ran activities such as CPR, and anaesthetising patients, and showing students the operation theatre setup.

The organisations engaged with our students, and it was a trip that opened all our eyes to the many job opportunities and careers in health.
