Our local schools cluster (Uru Mānuka) was recently granted funding from the Greater Christchurch Schools Network to try out a new approach to supporting your child's learning.

The cluster schools have employed and trained two support workers, Honorlee Bonodoc, and Aneta Matagi, whose task is to meet you in your homes and show you how to see your child's work on line and, more importantly, how you can engage with that work. This concentrates particularly on seeing your child's work on the public blog, and making useful comments on that blog.

If you would like one of these workers to visit you in your home, please contact your school office to ask for an appointment, or email kmorgan@urumanuka.org.nz.

You will find this very useful over the summer when hopefully your child has signed up to take part in our Summer Learning Journey.
