Joanne Bykerk — Feb 24, 2022

We have been advised that one of our students has tested as a positive case of COVID-19. This is something we have planned for. We have identified the students most at risk of coming into contact with the positive case during the infectious period which was Monday 21st February.

We have gone through a thorough contact tracing process and have identified students who are close contacts. These students and families have received a ‘phone call informing them of this classification.

We would advise that your child is able to continue their day-to-day activities at school as normal, with a major emphasis on watching for any symptoms. School is a safe place for them.

Whānau of those students who are casual contacts will later today receive an email informing them of this.
