Eight students from our kura were selected to showcase several Esports games at the Connections Conference held at Te Pae - Ōtautahi's flagship Convention Centre.

These games were focused on collaborative and energetic games to reflect the nature of the Sports and Recreation sector; Valorant - a 5v5 tactical fps, Fifa 23 - Football with the New Zealand #1 and Commonwealth Games EBlack Joshua “JMKKing” King, Virtual Reality smash hit Beatsaber, and HADO - the world's first techno sport: a combination of sports and gaming using Augmented Reality. Needless to say our rangitahi had an amazing time at this one of a kind opportunity!
