Hornby High School Gardening News
In the school vegetable garden this term we have been busy harvesting our summer crops and planting for winter.
We have had a great crop of corn and tomatoes, early cauliflower and some huge rhubarb. Our new apple trees had 3 apples!
We have completed a couple of new garden beds and have planted cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts, beetroot and rainbow beet.
We are looking forward to getting a feijoa hedge planted in autumn and a few new garden beds built. Watch this space!
