As we head into the downhill slide to the end of the term, we can look back and reflect on the amazing things our tamariki have been involved in.

There has been some amazing digital work coming out of hurumanu that has completely blown me away. Our Epro 8 team have created a space for e-sports. Technology has come in handy for those that have been helping the Hornby Community Centre create facemasks for those in our community. Mr Mitchell’s weekly quiz has broadened our knowledge and sparked many an in depth interesting discussion. Friday sport and basketball, although looking a little different in Level 2, continues to be the highlight of the week.

Over the next few weeks we look forward to Year 9 students participating in planting in the community, students out to WORD where they listen and share with renown authors, winter sports tournament, and of course business kete starting.

Halfway there but an exciting time to come.
