Malo.   September 40-10 is a celebration of the Tongan language. At Hornby High School this year we had a student-lead push to promote the wonderful language and culture of the Kingdom of Tonga. We had students teaching staff Tongan phrases, students sang to staff and in assemblies, and on Friday our staff were treated with a Taolunga (Traditional Tongan Dance). 

Our students have been encouraged to wear their Ta'ovala (Traditional Tongan Clothing).  What an amazing week, a huge thank you to Christina Fifita, Lavisha Tatu, Siaosi Kei, Casey Fevaleaki, Fei Leuea and Mrs Beer for contributing to the week.
