Winter sports started last week with Friday night basketball. We are pleased to announce that we have entered 12 Hornby High School sports teams in the Canterbury Secondary Winter Sports Competition.

All teams started the season strongly, coming away with wins from their first games.

Two teams are entered into the Canterbury Basketball Association Competition. Welcome back to our Senior girls entered in the Whelan Cup, division two grade.

In Basketball, we offer a warm welcome to Jimmy Williamson who has been appointed Head Coach for the Senior Boys basketball Thompson Trophy team, and Craig Harris who has been appointed Head Coach for the Senior Girls basketball Whelan Cup team.

Hornby High School is very lucky to have Gators basketball in on Monday afternoon to upskill our players.

6.30pm - 9.30pm

$10 per person or $60 a table (6 people)

Raffles, Prizes on the night.
