The Hornby High Senior Boys basketball team had an outstanding tournament in Ashburton.

We placed 6th with a record of 3 wins and 3 losses. 

 Our guys represented Hornby High School exceptionally well with many spectators and opposing teams commenting on Hornby's outstanding sportsmanship.

Highlights included a big 16 point comeback and layup in the dying seconds to beat Kavanagh College, and an overtime loss to Riccarton High School. The loss was tough to take, but we played by far our best game of the year and very nearly beat Riccarton, who placed 3rd overall!
