Last term 54 students from Ringwood High School, based in Melbourne came to Hornby High School. They were on a Humanities Tour, traveling all around New Zealand learning about Geography and History. They arrived in Christchurch after a few days in Rotorua and Wellington.

They came to have a glimpse of Pacific culture in New Zealand. We had three guest speakers talk about their stories of growing up as Samoans in New Zealand, the struggles their parents went through, and their parents dreams of a better life. Our students performed for them.

It was a great afternoon and our students represented the school well showcasing our school values. Creative Excellence at its best.
