On Thursday 16 August three Hornby High School geography students from Level 1 represented the school in the Annual New Zealand wide Maatangi Whenua Competition.

Crystal, Te Rama and Jordan were given many different geography tasks and general knowledge questions over the course of 2 ½ hours to complete. 

They represented the school well especially as it is the first time in a while that we have entered the event and a fun evening was had by all.
