Kia Ora Chris and Gabby here, the Kiwi Kaha Leaders for Hornby High.

Term 1 is all about respect. For the first few weeks your young people have been talking about how to have respect for themselves, focusing on being positive about what makes us unique, and how trying something new and challenging can help us to grow. 

From here Kiwi Kaha is going to be looking at respectful communication and how the words we use can have a huge impact on the people around us. Our aim is to create a better understanding than they had about how all communities should be built on a foundation of respect for each other.
